Kevin Robertson

CHIEF SALES OFFICER

Kevin has been a player/fan of the game his entire life. When the GRBL came to the Ozark area, he knew he had to get involved. Starting as a tryout attendee to executive assistant, Kevin proved that he was an asset that the league needed to have. He became Chief Operations Officer and hopes to deliver an experience that fans of all ages in the Ozarks can enjoy. Kevin also enjoys emceeing our on-field events, and there is no question that Kevin just loves being around the game.

STEPHANIE Lewis

VP PUBLIC RELATIONS/MARKETING

Stephanie grew up on the ball field being the daughter of a hall-of-fame coach. Her baseball knowledge is unbelievable and she still prides herself on being able to name every team in each respective division of the MLB. She currently is the Co-Owner of Sumits Hot Yoga, where she has successfully ran a profitable business for more than a decade. Having a Master’s of Administration in Sports Management from Missouri State University, she uses her online/social media marketing strength for the GRBL. Have an idea? STEVE LAEL

DIRECTOR OF BASEBALL OPERATIONS

Steve has been around the game as a player and coach all of his life. Steve had success in college and was ultimately inducted into the Hall of Fame for Lincoln Land University and finished his playing days at Missouri Western. Steve went on to coach baseball for the next 30-plus years, with the majority of those years being the head coach of the Branson Pirates. Steve was eventually inducted into the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, but refuses to be put out to pasture in retirement. Steve has a great baseball mind and the GRBL is lucky to have him.

HARRISON WATERS

DIRECTOR OF MEDIA

Harrison Waters is the mastermind behind all of our commercials and also still has a nasty curveball from the left hand side. He has worked with Tony for years working from North Carolina but he has successfully moved his whole family back to the Ozarks where he is raising his son Harrington with his wife Bre. We are extremely lucky to have Harrison’s expertise on the GRBL staff for years to come.

RANCE BURGER

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATION

Rance currently is the editor of the online local publication known as the Springfield Daily Citizen, but doubles as the play-by-play voice for all of our games. The GRBL rolled out live streaming in Season III, and people all over the world can see their favorite GRBL players play. Rance also interviews players and staff to give you a firsthand experience of what GRBL baseball is truly all about. Hear a lot more by checking out the Burger Bites podcast on Spotify.

Mike hudgens

LEAGUE PHOTOGRAPHER

Hudge has captured memories and special moments for GRBL players since Season I. He enjoys capturing quiet moments behind-the-scenes just as much as the action on the field. You can see the game through Mike’s lens by searching out his Facebook page, Mike Hudgens Photography. Mike is also the first staff member to ever be inducted into GRBL Hall of Fame for his service to the league.

Tony Lewis

FOUNDER/COMMISSIONER

Tony wanted to continue his passion for baseball and also provide an experience like none other to his hometown. He played professionally for the Bois Guillaume Woodchucks (France),the Toronto Maple Leafs (IBL) and the Quebec Capitales (CanAm - Indy). The ex-Drury Panther coached the inaugural GRBL championship team, GNR Black, and managed the Branson Showmen in 2020, but is dialing in to the commissioner’s role to keep delivering a quality product on the field to both players and fans. Tony hopes to keep improving the league year after year, and aims to make the GRBL a staple for all ballplayers in the heart of America. He was recently inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Diamond 9 Class for 2023 and currently serves as the Springfield Community Bank President for the Bank of Missouri.
